Adult Basic Education (ABE)The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program provides remediation in reading, writing and mathematics in preparation for earning a General Educational Development (GED®) diploma, or transitioning into the labor market, higher academic, or vocational training.

Adult High School (AHS)The Adult High School (AHS) program provides educational opportunities for individuals wishing to earn a traditional credit-based high school diploma from Adult Learning Center Osceola.

Continuing Education (CE)Learn a new language and unlock new opportunities. Join expert-led classes to improve your real-world language skills and speak with confidence.

English (ESOL)The six (6) levels of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes are designed for adults who need to develop skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.

General Educational Development (GED®)The General Educational Development (GED®) program provides instruction in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Mathematics.

Integrated Education & Training (IET)ALCO's Integrated Education & Training (IET) programs help adult learners prepare for a specific occupation while improving their basic skills, English language skills, and/or earning their GED®.

Welcome to the Spring 2027 semester at the Adult Learning Center Osceola!
As we begin a new semester, we are excited to welcome both returning and new students to the ALCO family. Spring is a season of growth, opportunity, and new beginnings. Whether you are continuing your educational journey or taking the first step toward achieving your goals, we are honored to be part of your path to success.
At ALCO, we remain committed to providing programs that meet the evolving needs of our students and community. This spring, we are proud to continue offering innovative opportunities that prepare students for college, career advancement, and personal growth. In addition to our successful Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs, we have expanded our course offerings to include ESOL for TOEFL Preparation and Intermediate Conversational Spanish, helping students strengthen their language skills and prepare for an increasingly global workforce.
We are also continuing to offer:
- GED preparation and high school completion pathways
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Career-focused Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs
- Florida Ready to Work certifications
- Expanded virtual learning opportunities
