Adult Basic Education (ABE)The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program provides remediation in reading, writing and mathematics in preparation for earning a General Educational Development (GED®) diploma, or transitioning into the labor market, higher academic, or vocational training.

Adult High School (AHS)The Adult High School (AHS) program provides educational opportunities for individuals wishing to earn a traditional credit-based high school diploma from Adult Learning Center Osceola.

English (ESOL)The six (6) levels of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes are designed for adults who need to develop skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.

General Educational Development (GED®)The General Educational Development (GED®) program provides instruction in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Mathematics.

Integrated Education & Training (IET)ALCO's Integrated Education & Training (IET) programs help adult learners prepare for a specific occupation while improving their basic skills, English language skills, and/or earning their GED®.

Welcome to the Summer 2026 Semester at the Adult Learning Center Osceola!
Summer is a season full of energy, growth, and opportunity, and we are excited to continue this journey of learning and progress alongside you. At ALCO, every semester represents a chance to build momentum toward your goals, strengthen your skills, and take meaningful steps forward in your personal and professional journey.
This summer, we are proud to continue enhancing our instructional programs that support student success and readiness for the next stage of their pathway. Whether you are advancing your English language skills through ESOL, working toward your GED, building career skills in our Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs, or preparing for the future through GATE, your commitment to learning is paving the way for a brighter future.
We are also excited to look ahead to Fall 2026, a semester that will bring exciting new opportunities for our students and community. This includes the launch of our new Culinary IET program at the Kissimmee campus, as well as the introduction of Florida Ready to Work certifications to further strengthen workforce readiness. In addition, we will be expanding our conversational ESOL offerings and virtual learning options, ensuring that more students can access high-quality instruction in ways that meet their needs and schedules. You spoke and we listened!
