What We Offer: Skill Up. Rise Up. Lead Forward!

Adult Basic Education (ABE)
The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program provides remediation in reading, writing and mathematics in preparation for earning a General Educational Development (GED®) diploma, or transitioning into the labor market, higher academic, or vocational training.
Adult High School (AHS)
The Adult High School (AHS) program provides educational opportunities for individuals wishing to earn a traditional credit-based high school diploma from Adult Learning Center Osceola.
English (ESOL)
The six (6) levels of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes are designed for adults who need to develop skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
General Educational Development (GED®)
The General Educational Development (GED®) program provides instruction in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Mathematics.
Integrated Education & Training (IET)
ALCO's Integrated Education & Training (IET) programs help adult learners prepare for a specific occupation while improving their basic skills, English language skills, and/or earning their GED®.

Dear ALCO Students and Community,

Welcome to the Spring 2026 Semester at Adult Learning Center Osceola—and Happy New Year!

With a new year comes new opportunity, and we are thrilled to begin another season of growth, learning, and empowerment together. Spring is a time for renewal, and at ALCO, it represents the continued pursuit of goals, dreams, and the belief that every learner can rise to new heights.

This semester, we proudly continue to strengthen the instructional programs that support our mission to prepare our students for the next steps of their pathway! Whether you're advancing in ESOL, working toward your GED, gaining workforce skills through our Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs, or preparing for the future through our GATE program, you are taking meaningful steps toward a brighter tomorrow. We are especially excited to build on the momentum of our expanding IET pathways and continue planning for our Culinary IET launching at the Kissimmee campus this spring. These career-focused programs are designed to connect learning with real opportunity, helping you build skills that lead to employment, advancement, and long-term success.
