What We Offer: Skill Up. Rise Up. Lead Forward!

English Courses (ESOL)
The six (6) levels of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes are designed for adults who need to develop skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
High School Diploma Courses (GED®)
The General Educational Development (GED®) program provides instruction in Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Mathematics.
Adult Basic Education (ABE)
The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program provides remediation in reading, writing and mathematics in preparation for earning a General Educational Development (GED®) diploma, or transitioning into the labor market, higher academic, or vocational training.
Adult High School (AHS)
The Adult High School (AHS) program provides educational opportunities for individuals wishing to earn a traditional credit-based high school diploma from Adult Learning Center Osceola.
Integrated Education & Training (IET)
ALCO's Integrated Education & Training (IET) programs help adult learners prepare for a specific occupation while improving their basic skills, English language skills, and/or earning their GED®.

Principal’s Message

Dear ALCO Students and Community,

Welcome to the Fall 2025 Term at the Adult Learning Center Osceola! We’re excited to begin a new season of opportunity, growth, and innovation. This fall, we continue to expand our Integrated Education and Training (IET) offerings to meet the evolving needs of our adult learners. In addition to our ongoing programs, we are proud to launch QuickBooks IET at the Kissimmee campus and bring the Paraprofessional IET to our Poinciana site. Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be introducing a Culinary IET at the Kissimmee campus in Spring 2026—another exciting step forward in our mission to provide relevant, career-focused education.

Whether you’re working toward your high school equivalency diploma, improving your English language skills, or gaining job skills through one of our IET programs, you are part of a school that believes in the transformative power of education at any stage of life.
